‘Fast & Furious 10’ Spoilers: ‘Captain Marvel’ Actress Joins Loaded Next Installment Cast

The “Fast & Furious” family just keeps getting bigger and the latest addition is certainly a big one.

Main star Vin Diesel, revealed on Sunday (Apr. 10) that Brie Larson will be joining the cast in the next installment, branding her as a timeless and amazing character addition on Instagram.

“You see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to yourself: ‘That’s Captain Marvel.’ Clearly there is love and laughter in this image. What you don’t see, however, is the character you will be introduced to in [Fast & Furious 10],” Diesel’s caption on the Instagram post read.

“You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect…her Oscar… is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the family Brie,” Diesel added.

For her part, Larson also shared the same photo and said she was excited to join the “Fast & Furious” family. She also thanks Vin Diesel for welcoming her to the group.

Back in February, the Oscar-winning actress mentioned wanting to be part of the “Fast & Furious” franchise.

“I’m obsessed. I love them. I think they’re so good. They’re so fun. And they’ve made me appreciate cars. And it’s something that should be appreciated. They’re incredible. So of course, please,” Larson said at the time.

Hence, the addition of Brie Larson all the more gives “Fast & Furious” fans to watch out for the 10th installment. She will join other newcomers such as Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchior, Cardi B and John Cena.

The old faces of the “Fast & Furious” gang aside from Vin Diesel include Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, and Charlize Theron.

“Fast & Furious 10” is scheduled to hit theaters in May 2023.
