On July 10, the "Fast and Furious" family announced that the filming of "Fast and Furious 7" was officially complete. More than three months later, we have begun to hear rumors of the imminent release of the highly anticipated "FF7" trailer. According to speculators, the first "Fast and Furious 7" teaser will finally air in the month of November. What's more, November marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic car accident that took the life of veteran "Fast and Furious" actor Paul Walker.
Even though "Fast and Furious" has yet to deliver a single teaser of the seventh installment for the fans, director James Wan revealed some interesting details regarding the film in an interview with Collider. According to the "Saw" director, "Fast 7" has truly been a labor of love.
"I think the final product will surprise a lot of people. It's that hardest film I've ever had to make but it's also the one I'm proudest of," Wan told Collider. What's more, Wan described his transition from low-budget horrors to a big-budget, high-profile action film.
"It doesn't matter how big or small your film is. You still don't have enough money. You don't have enough time to shoot it," Wan warned. "When you're making a bigger movie, you have much bigger set pieces that require more time and more effort and more people."
No doubt, the biggest challenge during the filming of "Fast 7" was the shocking loss of lead actor Paul Walker. Following the tragic car accident, film production of "Fast and Furious 7" was put on hiatus in order to give a moment for the cast and crew to mourn and cope. Eventually, brothers Cody and Caleb Walker joined the filming effort in Paul's place in order to complete the movie.
Stay tuned as we await for the upcoming "Fast and Furious 7" trailer in November. "Fast and Furious 7" will hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
