Fans Go Wild As Cristiano Ronaldo Trains With Son, Predicts He Is The Future Of Football

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo was seen spending time playing and training with his son as he has shared Instagram photos of himself with Cristiano Jr. in Dubai Sunday.

Ronaldo is seen running around the field topless while his son gears up with a Man Utd training jersey. The father and son eye-pleasing bonding was taken under the sunny sky of Dubai during the Premier League winter break.

Man Utd fans have been offered a peek of an exciting future with Ronaldo's son. The Portuguese superstar captioned the image with "Present and future" which was soon followed by a lot of social media users getting excited by the prediction that the child could follow in his dad's footsteps. Almost 19 million liked Ronaldo's post, including his former Real Madrid teammate Marcelo Vieira, who replied, "what a photo."

Cristiano Jr. previously spent time playing for Serie A side Juventus as part of their youth setup. Ronaldo's 11-year-old son joined Manchester United academy at the same time when the Portuguese footballer made a fantastic return to the Old Trafford. Cristiano Jr is the eldest son of Ronaldo, and he is known to love football as a child. He has great potential playing like his legendary father since the beginning.

"At his age, he [Cristiano Jr] plays better than Ronaldo. At the time, Ronaldo didn't have a coach, but today Ronaldo is his son's teacher," Dolores Aveiro, Ronaldo's mother, explained last year.

Ronaldo has similar expectations to everyone else as he previously said, "I would love for him to be a footballer, because he feels passion for this sport," Ronaldo told DAZN. "He is a competitor and he hates losing."

The 36-year-old was also spotted spending some time working out with his teammate and Portuguese compatriot Diogo Dalot. Ronaldo was not just relaxing and enjoying the warm weather of Dubai; the striker was continuously training in preparation for the coming games of the Red Devils. The five-time Ballon d'Or was also seen practising at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex in the Middle East. He successfully balanced his break with his family, including pregnant partner Georgina Rodriguez.
