No harm in trying. Los Angeles' hopeful high school senior Jake Davidson posted a video on YouTube, asking Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton to be his date to his prom.
Finding himself without a date to his final dance in high school, the teenager crafted a bunch of reasons why the curvy blonde should join him.
"You're the ying to my yang, I'm Jewish, 5'9'' on a good day ... you're Christian, 5'10'' ... and I can't dance at all. You could say this is destiny."
He also elaborates that he doesn't have a girlfriend, but that he "sees the glass half full." Davidson is as humble as he is funny and pleads to the model that she could "make a nice guy's senior year, the best ever."
There has been no official response yet from Upton, although there was a tweet accepting the invitation that has been deemed as fake.
