Eva Longoria will be reuniting with her "Desperate Housewives" co-star Ricardo Chavira on NBC's "Welcome To The Family" this fall. The Marc Cherry show saw Longoria and Chavira play husband and wife, Gabrielle and Carlos Solis, for eight seasons. It was Chavira who asked his former onscreen wife to make an appearance on the show, according to Deadline.
In the new comedy, Eva will play Ms. Nuñez, an English teach of Demetrio (Fabrizio Guido) who has a romantic history with the boy's father Miguel (Chavira) before he was married. The sitcom is about a Caucasian and Latino family that come together after their teenage kids have an unplanned pregnancy. The differences in culture will make this a funny show.
Longoria received an award at Telemundo's "Premios Tu Mundo" for her philanthropic work and the show she produces for Lifetime, "Devious Maids" was just picked up for a 13-episode second season. Earlier this summer it was revealed that Eva was dating, Ernesto Argüello, whom she met on reality show "Ready For Love" that she produced for NBC.
