Eva Longoria is single again after her relationship with Ernesto Arguello ended this week. They had been dating for around four months and met while Eva was producing her TV dating show Ready for Love on which Ernesto was a contestant. It seems that their conflicting schedules made it difficult to maintain a relationship.
"Eva and Ernesto were spotted canoodling in Spain as recently as two weeks ago, but once they got back to LA, we're told they decided their busy lifestyles just didn't mesh," reports TMZ. The duo, who met last year when Arguello, 34, was cast in the NBC dating reality show that Longoria produced, "Ready for Love," spent months denying their rumored relationship until Longoria confirmed it in early July.
"I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see," the brunette beauty said back then. "I think that's why our relationship is so special - we truly started as friends." She even took to Twitter to announce the joyous news to her fans. "Happy to share NOW that it's true! Couldn't be happier," Longoria tweeted to her more than 6 million followers.
The couple even vacationed together in Europe later that month, flaunting their love in Spain and Paris. Longoria and her beau appeared to be on the road to something more serious when the former "Desperate Housewives" star took a trip to Nicaragua to meet Arguello's entire family earlier in the summer.
However, with the actress' work commitments keeping her busy in recent weeks, the pair haven't been spotted together since returning from Marbella on August 6. Also, geography is taking its toll. Eva spends most of her time in L.A., and Ernesto is situated primarily in Miami, so they decided it would be better to split. But some sources aren't convinced it's completely over, and say "They're just on hold right now."
