Rumors about a love triangle between Jenni Rivera, Esteban Loaiza, and Chiquis Rivera have been the media’s target after Rivera’s death. Soon after the crash, sources started speculating about the singer’s doubts. Apparently, “La Diva de la Banda” died believing that her daughter was having an affair with Loaiza. The reason behind this, was the publication of a video where Chiquis is seen leaving the baseball player’s room. The singer, who was clearly mad after the footage was released, disinherited her daughter and removed custody of her siblings from her.
Chiquis Rivera has denied the affair publicly, and invited us to know more about her story when she published her book “Forgiveness.” On her memoirs, Chiquis claims to never have had an affair with her mother’s lover and has declared that she would never do something like that to her. She also admits to have been a victim of sexual abuse from the hands of her own father, José Trinidad Marín.
Yesterday, Esteban Loaiza came clean about his relationship with Jenni Rivera on "Primer Impacto." The former baseball pitcher has made some declarations where he implies that the famous singer was unfaithful to him.
“In the end, I realized that she was unfaithful to me, it was something that really hurt me a lot and I never thought that she was going to divorce me.” Said Loaiza about Rivera’s supposed infidelity.
He mentioned that she would be nice to him most of the times, but she would go through aggressive phases where she would be verbally abusive “She was nice to me, but sometimes she would treat me like she used to be: aggressive in the way she talked, in the way she did things. Sometimes I would think about doing things, then I would do them, and sometimes she would get mad at me for it.”
Loaiza also mentioned that he hasn’t read Chiquis book, and that he hasn’t been in touch with any members of the Rivera family. However, he shared that he is thinking about publishing his own book, or even making a documentary revealing the details of his relationship with “La Diva de la Banda.”
