For the first time ever the world’s greatest “Call of Duty” players will soon be pit against one another at ESPN’s X Games!

ESPN and Major League Gaming team up to produce the MLG X Games Invitational, which is a three-day tournament that will take place June 6 at the X Games in Austin. MLG has rounded up the best of the best CoD players for this competition.

MLG rounded up eight premiere “Call of Duty” teams, which will battle it out and rack up kills to earn medals! And yes these are the same medals given to world-class skateboarding, BMX and Moto X athletes.

The MLG Invitation will get its own tent dedicated to the CoD tournament. If you are going to the X Games paying $100, on top of the regular three-day pass, you’ll get reserved seating in the MLG tent, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, a gift bag plus the chance to meet the “Call of Duty” players.

For those who cannot make it the MLG Invitational will be streamed at MLG.tv, through MLG's mobile apps, and also via MLG's Xbox 360 app.
