Think about Vanishing Point, Mad Max, Ronin, C'etait un Rendezvous, Bullitt, Blues Brothers, and Gone In 60 Seconds combined and you still won't be able to create the awesomeness that is "Hot Wheels Police Chase." Sorry, that was massively hyperbolic on my part.
Still, this awesome stop motion high-speed chase by Vanguard Pictures is a fantastic piece of work for one simple reason -- for anyone that has ever had an awesome childhood, this is the Hot Wheel car chase they've always dreamed of.
Starring a green Ford Mustang fastback hero car, an obvious nod to Steve McQueen, Vanguard's sequence features every conceivable car-chase staple compressed within 2-minutes -- city traffic pile-ups, SWAT convoys, jack-knifing semi trucks, epic rollovers, Corvette ZR1 baddie cop, attack helicopters, railroad jumps, an airport runway drag race, and an epic rocket-booster finale.
In short, this rare piece of incredible cinematography puts Michael Bay and Christopher Nolan to shame. Enjoy the awesome Hot Wheels Police Chase video below.
