The boys are back in town! Well...they will be soon. The "Entourage" movie is happening, however, still unconfirmed, Kevin Connolly is telling fans it's a go. Connolly, who portrayed Erin Murphy in HBO's hit series revealed some exciting news for fans regarding the highly anticipated film. This news is surprising following Mark Wahlberg's recent comments regarding the forthcoming film. Wahlberg, who serves as executive producer for both "Entourage" the series and the soon-to-be movie stated production was halted due to pay disputes among the actors. When Wahlberg was asked when the "Entourage" movie was going to be released, he quipped "as soon as these guys stop being so greedy." Leaving many fans to believe that the real reason behind the film's delay was financial disputes form the series original cast.
Clearly unhappy with the producer's comments, "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier took to twitter in an effort to reassure fans and move forward towards production. Grenier, tweeted out an image of the original cast with an accompanying message stating, "To all Entourage fans. I owe it to you to make a couple things clear. I take my role as Vince on the show & off very seriously. All decisions I make personally & for business are for the principle of friendship and brotherhood. It has, & never will be about the money for me. I promise. I will always stand up for the boys (that includes you) & do what I can to make sure they are treated fairly, and not be taken advantage of by anybody. The spirit of Entourage is about sharing the opportunities given to us and I will sign any deal that gives all the boys an opportunity to share in the upside of success. Equally. I assure you, despite the perception, there is no greed in my heart. Remember, it will all work out in the end. It always does."
The 39-year-old actor portrayed Vincent Chase on the series, who was the character from which most of show's plot revolved. The aptly named "Entourage" followed the newly rich and famous actor and his best friends from his home in New York as they navigated both business and their personal through Hollywood's burning limelight. Grenier was not the only actor to assure fans of the film's production, Conolly continued his positive sentiments while in NY. The actor, did ambit that while they have not yet signed contracts, "everything is fine" in regards to the film. Connolly also teased at the soon to be production date admitting, "'It's gonna be good...January, we're gonna do it. It's not official, but it will be."
