Melissa Plancarte, the daughter of Knights Templar leader Enrique 'Kike' Plancarte, has shared a post on her Facebook page on the supposed death of her father in which she asked people not to mock the suffering of others. 'La Princesa de La Banda' posted a message saying "The mockery of far-off pain only shows the poverty and misery of humanity. No one lives forever in this world." Meanwhile, Facebook users have lashed out at the songstress for the comments.
Melissa Plancarte has reacted to news of her father's death by saying "God is perfect and he does not make mistakes: things happen for a reason and we must always stand tall, those who do not understand suffering and only engender more violence, may God bless you!" The post was published on the public Facebook wall of the cartel boss' daughter turned singer. Comments on the post raged: "Well your father laughed at all those that he tortured and killed, it's just karma making him pay," wrote one.
Enrique 'Kike' Plancarte, one of the key leaders of the powerful Knights Templar cartel was supposedly shot dead during a confrontation with marines in the municipality of Colón in the state of Querétaro. According to the initial versions of events, the Caballeros Templarios leader took refuge inside the town's local church before fleeing inside a building on the street of Prolongación Puebla, where the final shoot out took place. The Mexican government indicated that they had not yet confirmed the identity of the body.
