English singer John Joseph Lydon, popularly known as Johnny Rotten, slammed Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, calling them "parasites" during an interview with Piers Morgan.
"I think they've showed themselves to be parasites," the singer criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Rotten gave his opinion about the British Royal Family, referring to Harry and Meghan as "amazingly ungrateful."
"If you don't want to be a public figure, then shut your mouth," he said. Morgan is also known as a critic of Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40. He previously lost his job after he attacked and condemned Meghan over her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Morgan asked the 66-year-old punk rock singer about the couple's contribution to the royal debate. The former "Sex Pistols" frontman replied by ranting against the royal pair, criticizing their manners and conduct, saying they would be better off "getting a job at Mc Donald's."
"If you wanna opt-out of that family situation then please by all means do and go and work for McDonalds but don't expect me to be still forking money out to support your nonsense."
As the discussion went deeper about the Royal Family, Rotten said he was "really proud" of Queen Elizabeth. However, he believes that the end of her reign may mark the end of the monarchy. "There's a view that I'm completely against the Royal Family as human beings, I'm not. I'm actually really, really proud of the Queen for surviving and doing so well. I applaud her for that."
"I think it's the end of the monarchy because Prince Charles isn't going to be able to handle it. This is the man that plays Pink Flloyd to his cabbages. I love my country I love my people and everything about it."
Morgan also talked about other matters involving well-known personalities including Britney Spears and her controversial Instagram posts that have left her supporters concerned about her wellbeing. He defended the famous pop star on the show, saying he was "glad to see Britney back" and that she was "one of the all-time best pop stars."
