Congratulations are in order for Spanish beauty Elsa Pataky and hubby Chris Hemsworth as it was just announced they're expecting baby number two! Elsa has always said that she wants a big family, and her dream is coming true. Her daughter India Rose will be the big sister of the new baby, which will make the family of three, become a family of four. According to Hola!, one of Spain's most reputable magazines and the first to break the news, which were later confirmed by the couple's reps, Elsa is currently in the Canary Islands with her husband and India, where Chris is shooting his upcoming movie In the Heart of the Sea, an adventure based on the book Moby Dick.
Elsa, 37, is three months into the pregnancy and is due to give birth next spring. She and Chris, 30, met in early 2010 and tied the knot during the holidays of that year. Chris has previously admitted that having India with Elsa was the best thing to ever happen to him, despite all the challenges that come with parenthood. "Being a father is certainly a task. But the best one that I could ever ask for," he said. "Being home, being with the family, that's what it's about. It makes me much more relaxed with work, because I have something that is far more important to me now."
He opened up even more about his daughter to Yahoo!, saying "To be honest, really, she makes me more relaxed at work," he said at the "Thor: The Dark World" premiere Nov. 3. "I have something at home which is the most important thing. And, I don't know, there's sort of an ease to things outside of that now. I'm not quite as sort of as pent up as I was in previous years," he continued, adding that little India is "just the greatest thing ever." We couldn't be more thrilled for the couple and wish Elsa a happy pregnancy!
