New York Giants quarterback, Eli Manning, and his wife of 5 years have welcomed their second child. Eli's wife, Abby McGrew gave birth to another daughter on June 17. The couple also have a 2-year-old daughter, Ava Frances.
The NY Giants broke the happy news via Twitter on Thursday, July 4th, more than four weeks after the baby's birth.
The Manning's named their new bundle of joy, Lucy Thomas. And while it seems that within the Manning household, Eli is clearly outnumbered by females, he admits he loves it and that his daughter Ava already has him wrapped around her finger.
"The first time that you see your daughter, and every day just wanting to be around her and telling her that you love her," the football star previously told People magazine regarding the birth of his first daughter, Ava.
The whole Manning family is thrilled about the new addition, Eli's mother Olivia Manning discussed the change in her son after becoming a father. "Eli is different now that he's a dad," said after Ava was born. "He's always been a sweet, tender-hearted boy. But to see him with his baby girl, now that she's starting to smile and laugh, he works really hard to get those from her."
Eli wed his college sweetheat, Abby McGrew in 2008, on the beach in Cabo San Lucas. The couple confirmed the second pregnancy in March. "We're all very excited," Eli told Us Weekly of the expected arrival.
