The drowning elephant video is rather graphic and beyond cruel as it shows one of the performers with Germany's Universal Circus Renz dancing on the back of Madi, a 48-year-old circus elephant. The circus was touring Estonia and handlers had taken Madi down to the river in order to get cool.

While cooling off in the water the animal suddenly collapses and begins to sink below the surface of the water. Rather than leap into action to try and help the distressed elephant a man believed to be Rene Renz, the circus owner's brother, jumped onto her back and began to dance and jump up and down.

After she collapsed it becomes clear that Madi is scarred and in need of aide. At one point the elephant's head slips under the water and she lays down on her side. Panicked, Madi tries to get up but she fails. After slipping off her back during this Renz then climbs back onto the elephant once again in an attempt to entertain the growing crowd.

As the elephant died viewers are subjected to an unimaginable act of cruelty. The man uses her belly like a trampoline jumping up and down until finally deciding to leave her alone. At this point the elephant's body was brought over toward the shore with the help of pulleys and a crane.

The full video is 40-minutes long. The Renz brothers are now being investigated for animal cruelty and Twitter users are saying the circus should be shut down.
