Do Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Have Someone Paying For Their Publicity?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have made it clear that they desperately desire a break from ruthless media scrutiny. While it’s certain that they don’t pine after the mammoth publicity, it is certain that the royal couple does get a great amount of it. So, the question remains— who pays for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s publicity?

“The Sussex Foundation is registered as a corporation and not a charity. I’ve read the Sussex Foundation is paying for Sunshine Sachs,” Clair Chase, a Quora user, claimed. “I think Meghan gets a lot of free PR from her new friends,” she added.

For several others, the whole arrangement seems to be tipped in Meghan’s favor—at Prince Harry’s expense. “Harry is paying the price for Meghan Markle’s publicity,” Graham Shorts, a Quora user, musician, and artist, said. “She doesn’t care if her behavior hurts him or the Royals. She doesn’t seem to care that he has lost his sparkle. She doesn’t appear to worry that Harry is desperately unhappy. Yes, Prince Harry is paying a big price," he added.

Netizens took things a step further and called the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as “PR disasters” by a popular news portal. Rubbishing the claims, several users expressed their thoughts on the same.

“I think calling the couple a public relations disaster for the Royals is perhaps over-egging things a bit,” said Quora user Julie Docker commented. “The public won’t blame the rest of the family for this. The couple themselves are creating their own public relations disaster. They can’t complain about media intrusion then take part in an hour-long television program about how they feel (aired in the middle of a more senior Royal family member’s overseas tour, and Harry at least should have known better than to do that). Nor lecture everyone else about climate change whilst Harry claims they need to travel by private jet. Their attitude reeks of hypocrisy,” she added.

Another user put forth a series of claims that questioned the whole obsession with hating Meghan. “I don’t get it! Can someone tell me exactly what these two people have done to become a “public relations disaster?” Linda Merell said.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to comment on these claims.
