On Monday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder (6-3) will host their Western Conference rival Denver Nuggets (4-5) in an attempt to extend their win streak to two games. The Thunder, who begin a six-game homestand with Monday night's game, knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks with ease on Saturday night in a 92-79 road victory against an injury-hobbled Bucks, which shot only 34.9 percent from the floor. The Nuggets will hope that the resurgence of small forward Wilson Chandler, who will start against OKC, will help their squad keep up against the Thunder. "Hopefully [the addition of Chandler] will give us a shot in the arm," Nuggets coach Brian Shaw told the Denver Post. "I know it will definitely give us a better opportunity at competing against [Kevin Durant] right at the start. It's a guy he's going to have to honor and guard and use some energy on the defensive end, and somebody with more size and strength and experience to guard him on the other end." Since returning from a hamstring injury, Chandler has come off the bench in three games in which he has averaged 15 points on 50 percent shooting, including a 52.9 percent from 3-point range, in only 23.7 minutes per game.

The Thunder are coming off a frustrating week which saw them drop two games to Western Conference playoff teams, including a tough 116-115 loss to the Golden State Warriors at the hands of Andre Iguodala, who hit a fadeaway game-winner with time running out last Thursday. They looked uninspired for most of the game against the Bucks, even relinquishing the lead for a time in the third quarter before coming back strong in the fourth to close out a decisive win. "We just want to move on from [the road trip]," Kevin Durant told the Sports Network. "We're grateful for the opportunity to have six games in a row at home. We'll just try to take care of home court. We have some tough games, so hopefully we do a great job."

Reserve forward Nick Collison said he was "really encouraged" by his team's play against Milwaukee. "Defensively we were good. It wasn't a game where we shot great and things came easy for us, but I think we played the right way. Defensively we were able to get a lot of stops and lock in in the fourth quarter." Catch the action here when it tips off at 8pm EST on Monday, Nov. 18 from Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
