When "Dead Rising 3" was revealed at E3 2013, Microsoft told us that the next installment to Capcom's hit-zombie game has taken a more serious approach. But from the CG trailer, revealed today, it seems that the game has not lost its sense of humor.

The trailer shows the new hero of the game, Nick Ramos, getting into a bit of trouble and being rescued by newcomer, Annie. Nick shows off his artistic and creative use of duct-tape when encountering a zombie who can use a shotgun and finally he showcases his mechanic skills when trapped in a garage with Annie and creates a... Well you'll just have to watch to see this creation.

The new trailer, featured by IGN, doesn't offer us up any new information about "Dead Rising 3," but it does offer four minutes of fun zombie carnage that fans of the series will love. Hopefully there will be more shown on "Dead Rising 3" at Gamescom this week.

This new installment to the series is set 10 years after the incident in Fortune City in "Dead Rising 2" and introduces us to a young mechanic with a strange tattoo and a mysterious past, who must find a way to escape a city full of zombies before an impending military strike wipes the city of Los Perdidos, California, and everyone in it, off the map. Nick can't do it alone -- he must join up with other survivors to stay alive. They must fight their way out before it's too late.

The new "Dead Rising 3" is available exclusively for the next-generation Xbox One and has not gotten an official release date as of now.
