David Ortiz and the Boston Red Sox currently pace the American League Eastern Division with a record of 63-43.

Leading the Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays, the Sox are in prime position for another playoff berth despite not being considered a heavy favorite entering the 2013 MLB season.

Even at the age of 37, Ortiz continues to rake, batting a crisp .329 with 20 home runs and 67 RBI. All the achievements this season haven't stopped the designated hitter from expressing his anger, however.

During Saturday's 7-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles, Ortiz grew angry with a strike call against him despite the fact that Boston was on their way to another victory.

Slamming a bat into the dugout phone in frustration, Ortiz made sure a call to the bullpen would never again be made from that device.

The Red Sox may be flying high in recent days, but as you'll see below, David Ortiz still needs to take his frustration out from time to time.

Despite his destroying of the clubhouse phone, Ortiz will not be reprimanded by the Red Sox organization and he's not expected to be punished by the league, certainly a good thing considering he's a necessary element to Boston's success this season and into the playoffs.
