Even with just 3 games on the NBA’s slate last night, there were still some close finishes and riveting performances. Some of the game’s biggest stars showed out as they tried to lead their teams to victory.
Here are the top performances in the NBA from last night:
1. Damian Lillard, Portland Trailblazers (40 Pts, 4 Reb, 12 Ast, 2 Stl)
Damian Lillard put on a ridiculous display of shotmaking against the Nuggets. He drilled nine three-point attempts with many of them either way past the three-point line or tightly contested, and sometimes both. He made what could have been the game-winner if not for Jamal Murray’s heroics.
2. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets (33 Pts, 10 Reb, 9 Ast, 1 Blk)
Nikola Jokic has established himself as one of the game’s best and he’s an absolute offensive machine. He produces like few others in the league can, carving up defenses with his passing and his soft touch around the basket. His near triple-double helped lead the Nuggets to a tight win over the Blazers.
3. Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat (31 Pts, 10 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Stl)
Bam Adebayo has been aggressive of late, putting up big scoring numbers as he did last night. When Adebayo is in attack mode, defenses are in trouble. He’s one of the more unique big men in the league and the Clippers were made aware of that with his all-around great performance last night.
Honorable Mentions:
Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers (29 Pts, 8 Reb, 7 Ast, 1 Stl)
Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat (26 Pts, 5 Reb, 8 Ast, 4 Stl)
Keldon Johnson, San Antonio Spurs (32 Pts, 7 Reb, 1 Ast)
