Cristiano Ronaldo Spends Time With Partner Georgina Rodriguez

Manchester United legendary striker Cristiano Ronaldo was photographed taking some time off and enjoying with his long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez.

Ronaldo shared an adorable photograph of him and Rodriguez on his Instagram handle Wednesday. The couple appeared to be enjoying a sunny and romantic getaway. He captioned the snap with a love heart emoji; the location was not revealed.

In the stunning picture, 37-year-old Ronaldo can be seen shirtless, getting some tan while happily sitting with his 28-year-old partner. Just minutes after he posted the picture, his followers started commenting, liking and showing them a lot of love.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner and Rodriguez recently confirmed the death of their baby boy during childbirth. They announced in October that they were expecting twins.

"It is with our deepest sadness that we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away," the statement last month said. 'It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness." He continued by expressing gratitude to those who supported them during the painful journey, "We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you."

Ronaldo missed Man Utd's Premier League game against Liverpool due to the passing of his newborn son. The Portuguese international made his return in the next match against Arsenal. During the Liverpool match, the home supporters at Anfield gave tribute and applauded in the game's seventh minute — symbolizing Ronaldo's shirt number. As part of showing support and care for the footballer, the fans also sang their anthem, "You'll Never Walk Alone." Man Utd and its players also wished Ronaldo and prayed for Rodriguez's fast recovery.

Ronaldo signed a two-year contract with Old Trafford from Juventus last summer. Rumors emerged about his exit from the team as Man Utd suffered massive losses. In their Saturday Premier League match, United once again experienced a tragic 4-0 defeat against Brighton. The loss removed United's chance to make it to the Champions League for the next season.
