Cristiano Ronaldo said his kids would have his unwavering support no matter what ambitions they pursue. He then admitted his little Cristiano could be a "great" soccer player should he offer dedication to the sport, which the Manchester United star is not forcing.

During the first episode of his longtime partner Georgina Rodríguez's Netflix series, “I Am Georgina,” the soccer legend, 36, opened up about his children, twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 4, daughter Alana Martina, 4, and son Cristiano Jr., 11.

The dad of four revealed he would not pressure Cristianito to follow in his footsteps. Instead, he urges his son to choose his path to happiness, People reported.

"Only time will tell. I will never pressure him,” he said. “He will do what he wants. Also, what I want the most for Cristianito and everyone else is that they're happy choosing what they want. I will support you in any way.”

He went on to discuss the importance of being a good parent and role model to his kids, which he says goes smoothly with Rodríguez's help.

"The best thing that we can do is have children and educate them to have unconditional love and to have a woman by your side who gives you stability; the kids' education; is phenomenal," he continued.

Part of his responsibility is to make sure his children have restricted access to gadgets. Amid fears over the younger generation's relationship with devices, Ronald acknowledged the advantages of technology but said users who benefited from it should not be obsessed with that world.

According to the soccer great, his son Cristiano Junior, who will turn 12 this year, has been asking for his first mobile phone. He said they currently allow him to use technology for only a period, Manchester Evening News noted.

"I know as well that this young generation is one step ahead of their age so I agree that we have to take advantage of that but not to be obsessed about technology,” he explained during an interview at Soccer's Top Scorer of All Time award in Dubai.

Meanwhile, for the winter break, the 36-year-old was slammed for flying out to the luxurious Gulf State of Dubai with his partner and children amid public disagreements with manager Ralf Rangnick.

The trip also came following the most intractable month of his second United stint that’s been plagued with criticism from pundits like Gary Neville over his alleged negative body language during games, which negatively affected some of his colleagues, according to Mirror.
