According to the Clark County Sheriff's Office, a man was arrested for admitting to killing his sister, who he lived with because she had allegedly been poisoning him.
Koin reported that Robinson said in court documents that he grew "tired of" being poisoned for months.
According to the sheriff's office, on September 18, Diane Robinson's ex-husband, who had not heard from her in days, went to her house to search for her. When he arrived, he found her brother, Dwayne Robinson, who admitted that he stabbed and killed her.
Dwayne Robinson's ex-brother-in-law reported the incident to police, who responded to a report of a disturbance with a weapon. Police detained Robinson, and when they searched the property, they found the lifeless body of his sister.
Robinson was taken to the Clark County Jail and was booked for murder in the first degree.
According to police, after the arrest, Robinson admitted in an interview that he killed his sister because she had been poisoning him for several years.
Court documents show that Robinson stabbed his sister four times with a hunting knife on September 15, three days before his arrest.
Robinson awaits final sentencing and will appear in court on Monday, September 23.
