Various reports on the internet claim that Christina Aguilera has been spending money like a “drunken sailor.” A report in the National Enquirer has quoted an insider who said that Aguilera has allegedly spent most of her money and is now down to her last $300,000.

“Christina still lives like royalty!” revealed the insider. “Money flows through her hands like water and yet a lot is owed on her house and her credit card bills are mounting.”

As per reports that circulated online, Aguilera has high hopes from her upcoming project, which is a live-action version of Mulan. “People are worried she won’t cover all her spending,” revealed an alleged source close to the singer.

“Christina liked the finer things in life and is more than willing to spend whatever it takes to get them!” the source added. And despite her financial advisors asking her to cut down on her overspending, she allegedly is just not ready to budge.

However, there’s no truth to these reports, confirmed Gossip Cop. The website has cited several reasons that point out to the fact that Aguilera is definitely not going broke.

The website got in touch with a spokesperson of Aguilera, who shunned all these rumors. The spokesperson went on to clarify that the anonymous source’s claims are “not true.”

While sources reveal that Aguilera is depending on “Mulan” to be a big hit, on the contrary, back in August, Gossip Cop reported that Aguilera wasn’t working on the soundtrack of the live-action version of “Mulan.”

Instead, according to Billboard, the celebrated singer is starting a Las Vegas residency, which is already making truckloads of money, grossing almost $4 million in its first leg alone for the Latin singer.

This is actually not the first time that the National Enquirer has got its facts wrong about Aguilera. Gossip Cop pointed out how back in 2015, the tabloid made false allegations of Aguilera fighting with Matthew Rutler over a prenup before marriage. But they were neither fighting nor rushing into marriage, clarified Gossip Cop back then.
