Christian MAGA supporters are divided over one of President Donald Trump's latest executive orders, which will protect and expand in vitro fertilization (IVF) services.

"🚨PROMISES MADE. PROMISES KEPT: President Trump just signed an Executive Order to Expand Access to IVF! 👶," Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote in an X update on Monday.

"The Order directs policy recommendations to protect IVF access and aggressively reduce out-of-pocket and health plan costs for such treatments," she added.

News of the order prompted a surge of praise and condemnation from Trump's Christian MAGA supporters as well as his adversaries.

In response to Leavitt's announcement, a social media user shared a past clip of President Trump campaigning on covering all costs associated with the treatment.

"Throwback to when President Trump literally said on video that insurance companies will pay for IVF treatments, and if they don't, the Trump administration said they want to make IVF treatments available for free to all Americans," X user @HugoVale_ wrote. "Yet another promise kept."

"IVF has helped countless women have their own children. Not sure what is wrong with that," an X user stated. Christian MAGA supporters weren't hesitant to share what they believe is wrong with IVF treatment.

"IVF is NOT pro-life! Also, there are far more effective (and cheaper!) ways to achieve pregnancy," @HumanLifeIntl wrote in a post accompanied by a video titled "why is IVF wrong."

Ben Zeisloft, editor of The Republic, a conservative news outlet, called the order "an absolutely terrible idea." He was one of many oppositionists who stated they believe IVF treatment kills more lives than it creates.

"For every baby born as a result of IVF, there are several others indefinitely frozen, selectively aborted, or simply tossed in the trash," he wrote on X. "May God bless the entire Trump administration with swift repentance from this wickedness."

He also called "for Christians to make their voices heard and oppose federal efforts to expand IVF, which involve the mass discarding of preborn babies made in the image of God and therefore provokes his righteous wrath."

"Only 7% of human embryos created via IVF will result in a live birth," Lila Grace Rose, an anti-abortion activist, wrote in a social media post. "93% of these lives are frozen indefinitely, miscarried, or aborted. Over 1,000,000 embryos are frozen in the U.S. IVF is NOT pro-life."

"IVF is evil and shouldn't be supported. It creates new human lives like they are commodities that can be disposed of. None of our tax dollars should be used to support this," @Mike4Liberty wrote on X. "Planned Unparenthood should be defunded too."

Many users resented people calling the treatment "evil" and "wicked."

"So I shouldn't have been born? That's your logic. My mother risked her life TWICE to give birth to my sister & I using IVF. You think my sister & I should've never been born then right?" another social media user wrote.

"How profoundly stupid. Some people just want kids and this gives them a chance when all else fails," @Pax2247 added.

On Tuesday, Trump signed two additional executive orders requiring radical transparency from government agencies and establishing an oversight function to supervise independent agencies and their actions.
