Chris Brown Death Threats: Anonymous Caller Makes Threats; LAPD To Investigate

Chris Brown has received death threats from an anonymous caller, TMZ is reporting. The death threats were phoned into Brown's lawyer's office. Mark Geragos immediately called the police and the LAPD is investigating the death threats made against Chris Brown.

There are no specifics as to the nature of the death threats against Brown but his lawyer is reported to believe they are credible. The Daily Mail says, "Mr. Geragos took [the threats] very seriously and immediately reported them to police, giving all the information he had on the calls."

Mr. Geragos is the same lawyer that defended Chris Brown in 2009 after he was arrested for attacking his girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna. The Couple reconciled last October and Rihanna received a lot of public backlash for returning to the man that put her in the hospital. Chris Brown and Rihanna broke up again a few weeks ago.

The investigation into the death threats made against Chris Brown is still ongoing.
