For the second time in less than a year, Peso Pluma's fans learned of another failed romantic relationship. In January, it was Argentinian singer-songwriter Nicki Nicole who took to Instagram to announce the breakup.
Now its the turn of Hanna Howell, the influencer who dated the Mexican star since the spring. They just had made their relationship Instagram official five weeks ago.
Rumors of the breakup began circulating at the start of the week when fans noticed that Hanna was absent from Peso Pluma's side, a place she hadn't left for months. She had been a constant presence at his concerts during the "Éxodo Tour."
Then came Hanna's post on Instagram Stories with this text:
"This thing we call life is not only easy and the world can be cruel. I will continue to have a pure, real, and genuine heart even when people hurt it!
Fans took Hanna's words as implying that the relationship had ended on a less-than-positive note. Soon after, she took to TikTok to share a video, where she described the relationship as "bizarre." To add fuel to the fire, she sent gifts back to Peso Pluma's hotel with a message that read, "For the next one." In response, Peso Pluma returned the gifts, signaling that the breakup was far from amicable.
The couple's relationship had quickly gained attention, with both sharing grand gestures on social media. Hanna, who splits her time between Los Angeles and New York, even got a tattoo with Peso Pluma's real name, Hassan, inked on her wrist.
Peso Pluma had reciprocated the gesture, getting a tattoo of Hanna's name just weeks before their split. They even shared that they had got a dog together.
Fans had been enchanted by the couple's public displays of affection, making the breakup even more shocking.
Just a few hours after her TikTok video, the model and influencer shared a completely nude photograph on her Instagram account.
'Much more free,' she wrote in the caption, a statement that many have interpreted as a subtle dig at Peso.
However, the show must go on. Peso Pluma has a show tonight in Las Vegas and several more dates in the U.S. leg of his "Exodo Tour," before embarking of the Mexican part. He is one of the most nominated artists in the Latin Billboards, which will take place in Miami Beach on October 20th.
