It turns out Carson Wentz is one generous tipper.

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was spending time at his college (North Dakota State) at a bar named Herd and Horns Bar during his team's bye week. To no one’s surprise, Wentz and his friends tallied up quite the bill, $1,000 to be exact.

But the story doesn’t end there.

Wentz not only paid for the services and entertainment, but he even went on to leave a $500 tip. The owner of the bar, Brent Tehven, confirmed the rumors through local radio. That same report also indicated that Philly Cheesesteaks are becoming popular in Fargo, North Dakota because of Wentz’s success.

The Eagles selected Wentz in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft, and he has exceeded expectations thus far. Through four games Wentz has seven touchdowns and just one interception with a 103.5 passer rating. The Eagles are just one game behind the Dallas Cowboys for first place in the NFC East. It appears as if Wentz, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are the frontrunners to win this year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year.

The Eagles will face the Washington Redskins in their next game. The Redskins have won three consecutive games, so this will be a huge game for Wentz and the Eagles.
