Chris Evans star of the movie Captain America is now wearing military hardware in a new trailer and poster for Call of Duty Online. The Marvel star sets out to save a team of Chinese soldiers from a war zone in this intense promo. This is a live-action spot is for Activision's Call of Duty Online, which was developed specifically for China. Call of Duty Online is a micro transaction-based version of the very popular multi-player. It is expected to be a huge hit when it launches this month. It is not known if Chris Evans will be seen promoting Call of Duty in the states yet.
So far, the game has been announced only for China. It is available today through an open beta. Call of Duty Online is a free-to-play game supported by microtransactions. Activision has partnered with Chinese Internet giant Tencent to release the game in the country. In the teaser trailer, Chris Evans comes to the rescue when a group of Chinese soldiers gets stuck behind enemy lines.
