A new, unconfirmed, rumor suggests "Call of Duty: Ghosts" will natively run at a higher resolution on the Sony PlayStation 4 than the Microsoft Xbox One. Multiple sources all over the Internet have reported that "Call of Duty: Ghosts" has been confirmed to run at a native 1080p on the PS4 while lots of evidence points to the Xbox One version of the game natively running at 720p. It is all speculation at this point but given the fact that Microsoft hasn't commented on the rumors.

Eurogamer has also done extensive testing using a pre-release copy of "Battlefield 4" on the next-gen consoles. The new Microsoft Xbox One runs at 1280 x 720, where the new PS4 runs 1600 x 900. "Battlefield 4" also uses some artificial details boosting to try and increase the overall quality of the graphics with varying success on the Xbox One. Check out the "Battlefield 4" Xbox One and PS4 comparison video below.

It is worth noting that this is about launch day titles for both next-generation consoles. Once the consoles and games actually release developers for both systems can make the necessary adjustments to give the consoles a boost in visual quality. With the specs on both features it's a safe assumption to say that whatever next-gen console you pick up the graphics will be amazing.
