"Call of Duty: Ghosts"
"Call of Duty: Ghosts" Infinity Ward

There has been no official announcement by Sony or Activision but a recent slip up by GameStop Spain suggest that"Call of Duty: Ghosts" will be coming to the PlayStation Vita. TheSixthAxis spotted a listing for a Vita version of CoD: Ghosts which has since been removed. Activision's Dan Amrich says this is purely the work of an "over excited retailer."

It wouldn't be a surprise to see "Call of Duty: Ghosts" on the Vita seeing how last year, Activision and Sony collaborated on a "Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified" on the PS Vita console. The company did emphasize there will be some new information on the Vita coming soon. Activision could possibly announce something new tomorrow at Gamescon 2013.

"Call of Duty: Ghosts" delivers a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast of characters, all powered by a new, next generation Call of Duty engine. With that said it will be interesting to see if Infinity Ward and Activision will make a spin-off of CoD: Ghosts or a down-specced version of the full game.

As of now the confirmed consoles expecting to get "Call of Duty: Ghosts" are the next generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4 along with the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. The game is set to be released on November 5. Don't forget to check out the gameplay trailer above and the reveal trailer below.
