Kanye West has been courting countless controversies ever since he announced that he is running in the presential elections. From him breaking down at a rally to revealing that Kim Kardashian wanted to abort North, he just seems to keep rubbing the people the wrong way.
Amid speculations that he is not mentally stable to be a Presidential candidate, Caitlyn Jenner has spoken out about the situation and expressed her unflinching support for the rapper.
Talking about Kanye's unlikely presidential campaign during her appearance on Good Morning Britain on Aug. 3, Caitlyn, 70, shared that since the 43-year-old musician has announced his presidential bid, she never had a chance to catch up with him as he has been living in Wyoming most of the time. She also said she wish him the best” as he is “a really good guy."
"The only thing I can talk about is really how he treated me through everything and he has been the most kind, loving human being and so good to me throughout the years and especially going through everything I've been going through in the last five years," Caitlyn continued. "He's been such a good friend."
Caitlyn also reflected on how Kanye West has got “a great heart” and had been “extremely supportive” of her in the past five years while she underwent sex transition. Before it, she was married to Kris Jenner, from 1991 to 2015.
"He's a good person. He's got a big heart," she shared. "He deals like everybody deals with things in their lives. He's dealing with those things, but he's a good person."
When asked to comment on the status of Kanye West’s 2020 presidential campaign amid incidents of his unstable mental health, the I Am Cait alum shared that she has no idea about it. “Since all of this has come down, I have just kind of watched it just like everybody else,” Jenner explained.
As for whether Kanye West, if elected, would make a good president, Caitlyn Jenner prefers to not “even go there".
"We're living in such a political environment today," she said. "It's like, I don't even want to discuss or talk about politics anymore. I'm just kind of over it."
