Saturday night, Prince Andrew sat down with BBC for an interview over the friendship he shared with Jeffery Epstein, the convicted pedophile who recently committed suicide while imprisoned. As expected, this did not go down well with people.
Royal correspondent, Nicholas Witchell, immediately said that the Queen was losing control of the Palace and that the interview (which she apparently permitted) was a PR disaster. According to Express, he was also quoted saying, “There is now a lack of strong central control.”
Within just two months, there have been two scandalous episodes for the royal family. The first one was the ITV documentary with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and his outburst against the British tabloids. And now they have the Prince Andrew mess which, if it was a big mess back then, is even more complicated now.
Thankfully, Brits understand the situation and have quickly sided with the Queen and are adamant that the recent events are not her fault. In fact, there were a plethora of comments on Epress.co.uk’s Facebook page where most of the comments were people slamming Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle for humiliating the Queen.
One user wrote: “She needs to take their title away & funding, make them work for a living, in doing so we could keep the hospital dr,s & nursing going for a good few years with the money we would be saving.”
While another commented: “She must feel really let down by Harry, Markle and Andrew they should be ashamed of themselves putting her majesty through so much stress.”
The third one wrote: “Long may you reign you Majesty! So sad that your family have let you down.”
And, there was one who pointed out: “Its not the Queen. Harry married trouble she’s no good… and well Andrew is simply a lying t****r who has let his mum down big time, what an embarrassment.”
