A bride gave more than one kiss at her wedding reception. One was to her husband, Russell Cox, and the other was the kiss of life for a guest reportedly having a heart attack.
The bride Kylie Cox's kiss was mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, seeing as she is a nurse. Kylie's uncle and bridesmaid helped administer CPR while an ambulance was called for the wedding guest. The guest, who was accompanied to the hospital by the bride and groom, is expected to make a full recovery.
The bride, 24, was reportedly dancing with the guest when he collapsed. She said, "Our friend asked me for a dance, but while we were on the dance floor, he fell faint. I turned round to give him a chair and he collapsed," according to the report.
"Me and Russell spent the first night of our marriage at the hospital, because we didn't know whether our friend was going to live or die," Kylie said.
He only had one drink all day as he was driving," Kylie added. "He's still in hospital, but he's going to make a full recovery."
Kylie's father called off what remained of the evening reception. The Cox couple, from Cornwall, will make another celebration at a later date.
