Brazil and Italy continue to play strong soccer in the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup tournament. Earning the maximum 6 points with two-consecutive victories, these two clubs along with Spain continue to look like serious contenders for this title and the upcoming 2014 World Cup. Brazil remains perfect thanks to a 3-0 win over World Cup qualifying Japan and a 2-0 triumph over Mexico while Italy disposed of Mexico 2-1 in their opener before coming from behind to defeat Japan 4-3.

Two of the most talented teams in the world, Brazil and Italy should provide fans with 90-plus minutes of entertainment when they meet this weekend. It's safe to say this contest could be one of the best seen on all levels of soccer heading into next summer's Brazil games.
When and Where to Watch Confederations Cup Match

Team Preview - Brazil
With 2 goals throughout the first 2 matches, rising superstar Neymar continues to guide an extremely talented Brazilian national team. One of the fastest players in the game, the 21-year-old also possesses the ability to charge down the field and score at any time. A win over Italy could potentially mean that Brazil wouldn't have to play against defending World Cup champion Spain in the semifinal and if Neymar continues to play at this high level, Brazil will be just fine.

The performance of Jo in 2 games has been an added boost for the Brazilians as well. Recording 2 goals of his own, Jo has established himself as the player capable of providing support to Neymar. Moving forward, if Brazil is to claim another CONFED Cup and make a strong run through next summer's World Cup, Jo and Neymar will undoubtedly be two key pieces throughout.
Having already qualified for next summer's games where they'll be the host nation, expect Brazil to play a quick and strong game against Italy since their individual talent will be enough to get them opportunities. A solid Italian defense however, may not surrender multiple shots between the pipes.
Team Preview - Italy
Italy may also be a perfect 2-0 but their road to an unblemished start was a little trickier then that of Brazil. Downing El Tri 2-1 in their opening match of the tournament, Andrea Pirlo and Mario Balotelli provided the only scoring tallies the 2006 World Cup champions needed as their defense surrendered just one goal to Mexico's Javier Hernandez in the 34th-minute. Balotelli would notch another goal in Italy's match against Japan the next time out. Coming from behind after surrendering the first 2 goals of the game to Keisuke Honda and Shinji Kagawa, Italy showed why they're one of the best teams in the world.
Daniele De Rossi put the Italians on the board in the 41st-minute and nine minutes later Atsuto Uchida scored on the wrong end for the Japanese, tying the game at 2. Balotelli's goal at the 52-minute mark put Italy in front for the first time and after Japan tied it in the 69th-minute with a Shinji Okazaki tally, Sebastian Giovinco became the hero as he scored the game-winner at the 86-minute clip.
If Italy's offense can play step-for-step with Brazil and Mario Balotelli is able to use his strength against the physical Brazilian defenders, they'll be able to compete in this powerhouse match-up. If not, Brazil may earn a walkover win.
