A thief, who is a lookalike of Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper, was caught shoplifting a rotary laser from a Home Depot in McDonough on July 23.
Henry County Police are reportedly tracking down Cooper's doppelganger, they also put out a notice asking for help from the public. Authorities posted a surveillance picture of the thief, who appeared to be leaving the store after stealing a Bosch Rotary Laser Kit that costs hundreds of dollars. The man was dressed in an olive green t-shirt, blue jeans and a cap.
Meanwhile, social media users, as always, have been fast in pointing out the thief's resemblance to the "A Star Is Born" actor. The police post received about 525 comments on Facebook. "You know it's hard times when Braddley is having to steal," a Facebook user wrote. "Bradley Cooper stealing? He's really far from the shallow now," another one commented. Some users also questioned how someone could just steal a big item from a shop. A user said, "I don’t understand how someone can just casually walk out, past the cash register and no one sees him! I don’t get it!"
Anyone with information about the thief has been asked to call the Henry County Police Department’s non-emergency line at (770)-957-9121.
Cooper has not commented yet on his lookalike. The award-winning actor is currently on a full-packed schedule, filming his latest movie, "Maestro," which features him as the Broadway composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein. Cooper was also previously seen in New York City with Vogue editor Anna Wintour at his home, a day before his alleged girlfriend Huma Abedin's birthday.
Many celebrities have somehow found their lookalikes, among them is the famous Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who seemed to have one of the most identifiable faces in the industry. Johnson seems to have a mirror image of his bald head and sweet smile in his doppelganger. Morgan County Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields from Alabama, caught social media's attention when the police department shared his photo on their page. Fans expressed their amusement and excitement at the perfect resemblance of the officer to the actor. Some even tried to approach his colleagues, asking for help to reach and greet Fields.
