In case you were still hoping the wedding announcement was false, we have some bad news for you. It’s as real as it can get. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are so married, that during his first outing since the wedding, Brad proudly flashed his wedding ring. A simple golden band that sparkled around his finger, crushing the hopes of many fans that for years wished they had an opportunity with the actor.
Pitt was seen during a photo call for his upcoming movie “Fury” at the Tank Museum in Bovington, Dorset, England. “Fury” is a war film set in World War II, written and directed by David Ayer. Besides Pitt, the film stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Michael Peña, Jason Isaacs and Scott Eastwood. It’s set to be released on October 17, 2014, so no wonder Brad had to go back to work immediately after the wedding!
Just today, the actors’ spokesperson released a statement announcing the marriage of Brad and Angie on Saturday, August 23 in the Chateau Miraval in Correns, France. This Chateau is part of the Jolie-Pitts estate since 2008. It has a 35-room main house, an ancient chapel and working vineyard spread over 1,100 acres. It is believed that the couple used the chapel to exchange their “I do’s” and the ceremony was officiated by the same judge who issued their marriage license in California some days before the actual event.
The couple was accompanied by their closest friends and family, and their six kids had important roles during the celebration. Angelina walked down the aisle with her boys, Maddox and Pax. Zahara and Vivienne were the flower girls, and Shiloh and Knox were the ring bearers. Although we haven’t seen Angelina in public since the wedding, we’re pretty sure she’s paired her wedding band with the amazing engagement ring Brad designed for her in 2012 when he proposed.
