Blake Shelton Is Dealing With Gwen Stefani Twin Pregnancy Rumors The Funniest Way

“The Voice” coaches Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have never been shy in showing the love they felt for each other. It’s no surprise then that the two singers are also the favorite topic of various rumors.

For instance, one of the favorite tabloid rumors about Stefani and Shelton is that they might have already secretly married, a rumor that doesn’t seem to go away despite their repeated denials. Another long-running rumor about Stefani and Shelton is that they might be having twins.

The issue was resurrected once more just very recently when Stefani used social media to promote her new kids’ clothing line for Target, called Harajuku Mini. “Super excited have #HarajukuMini back in @Target #hurrygrabit!! #kawaii G,” the “No Doubt” singer tweeted on Sept. 14.

But it was her boyfriend’s response that had their fans in an uproar. “Ohhhhhh @gwenstefani this stuff will be great for our twins!!!!” Shelton captioned a retweet of Stefani’s post.

Of course everyone knew that Shelton’s post was a mere joke. Nevertheless, Twitter was set aflame by fans who can’t resist riding along with his joke.

“Oh no!! Tomorrow’s magazines with have @gwenstefani is pregnant with twins and it’s been confirmed by @blakeshelton,” one fan tweeted. “You know they’ve had Gwen pregnant for almost 20 months already! I love y’all! Y’all are the best!!”

Meanwhile, another one suggested that after having been rumored to have twins for so long, it’s probably time for Stefani to have triplets this time. “That stuff is so great that you should go for triplets,” suggested a fan.

As the fan noted, the issue of Stefani having twins has been around for a very long time. The first instance it came out was in July 2016, when Hollywood Life reported that the singer was 4 months pregnant with twins.

When nothing came out of the rumor, the issue died down for a while, that is, until the same publication resurrected the topic in July 2017 by claiming that Stefani and Shelton are planning an end-of-summer wedding and even added that she’s already expecting twins.

Of course the wedding didn’t happen, and the twins didn’t arrive at all. But that didn’t stop Life & Style from claiming in December 2018 that Stefani is finally pregnant with twin girls after undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) for 16 months.
