By now, “The Voice” coaches Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are probably used to rumors about them having twins that they even recently joked about it. The issue is not actually new, but it just won’t go away. Here are some of the times that those twin rumors flared up in the past.
Four Months Pregnant With Twins (July 2016)
It probably started in July 2016, when rumors that Stefani was four months pregnant. What’s even more exciting is that Stefani and Shelton are expecting twins, according to Hollywood Life, which further mentioned OK! magazine as its source.
“They’d been discussing their dreams of having a child together,” the report quoted an unnamed source. The tipster also added that the couple is super excited considering that at Stefani’s age, “the chances were slim that they’d be able to conceive without help.” Obviously, the report was fake since Stefani didn’t deliver the supposed twins five months later.
End-Of-Summer Wedding And Expecting Twins (July 2017)
A year later, rumors once again surfaced that Stefani is pregnant. For example, Hollywood Life, which got its story from OK! magazine like before, reported once more that not only is Stefani and Shelton planning on an end-of-summer wedding but also that the couple is actually expecting twins.
The report even claimed that Stefani is getting advice from Beyonce. “And friends are saying she’s been talking constantly about Beyonce‘s pregnancy and wanting to reach out to her for advice,” the report cited an unnamed source. “People are starting to put two and two together,” the source added. Of course the report was also inaccurate.
Twin Girls After 16-Month IVF Struggle (December 2018)
More than a year later, another twin pregnancy rumor circulated. This time, it came from Life & Style magazine, which reported that it only came about after 16 months of in vitro fertilization, according to Gossip Cop.
“Getting pregnant with one child, boy or girl, would have been a blessing, but two is definitely a gift,” Life & Style quoted an unnamed source. “They’re calling it their Christmas miracle!” the supposed source added. But nine months later, Stefani has not yet given birth, nor has she become pregnant, proving that it was also another fake report.
