"The Blacklist" premieres tonight and if you haven't heard about NBC's upcoming drama series, please let me fill you in! The pilot episode premieres tonight and fans will meet Raymond "Red" Reddington, played by James Spader. Spader is best known for his roles in "Pretty in Pink" and "Less Than Zero." Red is one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives, but instead of continuing to flee his criminal past. Red walks directly into FBI Headquarters in Washington DC and asks to see, FBI Assistant Director, Harold Cooper.
Upon entering the FBI security system instantly recognizes the fugitive, who was notable for brokering deals for criminals and called "The Concierge of Crime." But now the fugitive surrenders to the FBI, under one condition. Red will only communicate with an unknown rookie FBI profiler, named Elizabeth Keen. Keen, whom Megan Boone plays, is very weary of Reddington's sudden interest in her. His reason for surrender is yet unknown, he wants to help the FBI in their attempts to capture and prosecute dangerous criminals and terrorists.
The reason as to why Reddington is now willing to help the FBI is unknown, but he is necessary to catching these criminals, who he believes are the biggest threats to the country. The first episode of this thrilling series will premiere tonight, at 10pm on NBC, and if you can't tune in live, check out a live stream available here!
