2K and Irrational Games have announced the release date for the "BioShock Infinite" "Burial at Sea Episode One" DLC. The new DLC will arrive on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC November 12. Episode One, Burial at Sea, will cost $14.99 or is included free for anyone who already purchased the "BioShock Infinite" Season Pass. If you're wondering what "Burial at Sea Episode One" is, well Irrational Games has given a brief explanation. Irrational announced Burial at Sea Episode One sees Booker and Elizabeth exploring the city of Rapture the night before its fall and includes new weapons and a new Plasmid.
Believe it or not the new Plasmid for Booker was created by a fan, graphic designer Joe Trinder. Booker will have access to a brand new Plasmid: Old Man Winter. Much like Winter Blast in the original BioShock, Old Man Winter allows Booker to freeze enemies and then shatter them to devastating effect. As you progress through Rapture, it can also be used to freeze flowing water in order to create paths to otherwise inaccessible areas.
The new episode marks the second add-on for "BioShock Infinite's" season pass, which follows the "Clash of the Clouds" combat DLC that came out earlier this year. Irrational is now reportedly working on Episode Two, which will let you play as Elizabeth for the time. The new DLC "Burial at Sea" will arrive on November 12 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
