Bennifer Dines With JLo's Twins In L.A. Amid Alleged 'Intimate But Immaculate' Wedding Talks

Seems like Bennifer 2.0 is continuing to head in the right direction after the reunited couple was seen enjoying lunch at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles with her twins Max and Emme on Wednesday. It comes amid reports they are finally walking down the aisle this time around after calling it quits in 2004.

Sources say the Hotel Bel-Air holds significant memories for rekindled lovers as Ben Affleck, 49, was reportedly secretly fetched in the swanky venue to be shuttled off to the mansion of Jennifer Lopez, 52, during the early days of their renewed relationship, the Daily Mail reported.

The pair was in complimentary tan coats on Wednesday and had brought along the twins, who led them out to JLo's white Cadillac Escalade, the same vehicle that Jennifer used to pick up Ben during their early rendezvous at the hotel shortly after she ended her engagement to Alex Rodriguez, 46.

The outing appeared to just be with Jennifer's children, as the "Argo" director's kids his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, namely Violet, 16; Seraphina, 12; and Samuel, 9, weren't anywhere to be seen.

According to sources close to the Bennifer couple, the two wanted an "intimate, but immaculate" wedding that will serve as "an elaborate statement of their love story for their friends and family,” Pink Villa noted.

Ben and Jen first dated in 2003 and got engaged the same year. However, they would delay their wedding plans at the time, citing "excessive media attention" surrounding their supposed nuptials. By January 2004, the couple moved to reveal they had called it quits.

Five months later, Lopez would marry record executive Marc Anthony, the father to her twins, in Los Angeles. By June 2005, Affleck would tie the knot with "Miracles from Heaven" star Jennifer Garner in a low-key wedding ceremony held in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

JLo then divorced Marc Anthony in 2014 and then four years later, Affleck would announce his split with Garner. The Latina artist opted to date A-Rod in 2017 and got engaged with the New York Yankees baseball player in 2019. In March 2021, Rodriguez and the "On the Floor" hitmaker confirmed their split.

Since then, reports emerged that Lopez was in contact with Ben before her breakup with Rodriguez, but sources claimed these were friendly conversations. By May of the same year, the couple slowly went out of their shell and started going out in public.

Meanwhile, JLo's ex-fiancé appears to have taken a dig at her after he honored his "very special" ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis on her 49th birthday. A-Rod would post his throwback photos with Scurtis on Instagram.

“Today I am celebrating someone very special in my life. Someone who continues to make a difference in my daughters’ lives every day and has my eternal respect and admiration," part of his caption reads.

“You’ve always been a wonderful mother and role model to our two incredible daughters. You always put their needs first and have helped shape them into the strong young women they have become," he continued per The News International.

At the end of his birthday message, Alex would thank his ex-partner for his two daughters, Natasha, 17, and Ella, 13, calling them the "greatest two gifts any man could have.”
