The new season of "America's Got Talent" has kicked off and with it, many aspiring stars. One of those artists is a teenage boy named Benjamin Yonattan, who will showcase his talent in front of the judges and massive audience worldwide during the show's second week of auditions.
Yonattan is a 14-year-old dancer who resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was adopted from Guatemala at age 4 and is almost completely blind; however, he's able to expand his field of vision using Google Glass. Thanks to the headset, Yonattan's vision has been restored, allowing him to get back on the dance floor. According to an interview with International Business Times, the teen has been dancing since age 5 but became serious and involved with the art when he was 9 years old.
Now, the Guatemalan-born dancer will take his compelling story and dance moves to the popular TV show. Will he have what it takes to impress judges Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel and convince them that he can be the next million-dollar act? We hope so!
Don't forget to catch Benjamin on June 2nd's episode of "America's Got Talent" to air at 8 p.m. ET on NBC Network.
As for Yonattan, he'll be posting photos on his Instagram account of his viewing party Tuesday night.
