Bella Thorne is known for her risque and sexy demeanor. Now, it is being reported that the former Disney starlet has taken things to the next level and has made her debut in Playboy magazine.
According to People magazine, the 19-year-old actress has graced the infamous pages of Playboy magazine to appear in the monthly "No Filter" feature that highlights a woman who is making waves in the entertainment industry, The star can be seen in the November issue of the publication paying tribute to the late David Bowie.
In the issue, the Cuban-American actress rocks a red bomber jacket with the late singer's name stitched on the back. The star is using the opportunity to address people who criticize her for being "too sexy" on social media.
“People are constantly trying to change me, every second of the day, especially on social media. I’m not fed up with social media — I understand it — but people like to comment on how my image is too edgy, that I’m too edgy, and on how they wish I looked. It’s a lot of ‘do this, don’t do that’,” Thorne tells the magazine.
She believed that if you are confident within your own skin, you should be able to show it off without any restrictions.
"There’s this effort to try to shame a woman’s sexiness by pulling a cover over it, but I’m a woman who loves skin. I love skin on me, I love skin on girls, I love skin on guys. If you’re confident enough to show off your body, you should."
If you're thinking that the star is posing nude, you can relax. After 62 years, the magazine announced in October 2015 that it would stop publishing nude photoshoots of women.
Playboy magazine's November issue is set to hit newsstands nationwide on October 25.
