Bella Hadid Responds To Selena Gomez’s Comments Over Deleted Photo Incident

Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid are said to have reconciled following the drama that started over an Instagram post. The two are now on good terms again after the model reportedly extended an olive branch to the actress/singer.

According to TMZ, it was Hadid who reach out first after their misunderstanding when she deleted her social media post that was commented on by Gomez. The model explained that she did not take down her own photo just because the “I Can’t Get Enough” left a comment under it.

The 23-year-old model clarified that the only reason she deleted the post was because, she did not like the picture. It was reported that Hadid had a small chat with Selena Gomez and that meeting fixed their alleged feud.

The Backstory

Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid have a complicated relationship because they are both ex-girlfriends of The Weeknd. It was said that the two developed an animosity when after Hadid broke up with the Canadian singer and songwriter, Gomez immediately started a romance with him.

Hadid then unfollowed Gomez on social media and the latter did the same. It was obvious that their move resulted from being in a relationship with the same guy although not at the same time.

In November this year, Selena Gomez followed Hadid again and that was how she was able to comment on one of the model’s photos. As per the reports, Gigi Hadid’s sister posted a photo of herself and the actress/singer wrote "Stunning" in the comment section. Gomez even added a heart smiley emoticon but suddenly that picture got deleted.

In response, Gomez wrote “that sucks,” apparently referring to Hadid’s move. But later, she apologized and said that she should have not written that comment without knowing the truth first.

“NO, I shouldn’t have spoken without knowing the truth,” Elle quoted Gomez as saying. “I’m sorry. Please don’t be hurtful. She is a wonderful person and it was all a misunderstanding.”

In any case, it seems that all is well now between Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid. They are friends again and judging by the turn of events, they have put their past conflicts behind them now.
