Bárbara Bermudo is greatly missed on "Primer Impacto" and fans are not happy with any replacement they may have for the journalist. There have been rumors as to the reasons why the Puerto Rican host was cut from Univision, but nothing concrete. "Suelta La Sopa" followed up with two of her former co-hosts and they are speaking about Bermudo's surprising exit from the show.

"We have communicated via text, she is well," Tony Dandrades told the Telemundo gossip show. Natalia Cruz, who has filled in the main hosts chair from time to time had the following to add: "We obviously can't talk about the issue. I love Barbara and she is a great professional, that I can say. We are going to miss her a lot, but the only thing I can say is that she is a great person. She has a marvelous family, beautiful daughters and a husband that supports her. She is a go getter, very smart, very creative that I know that she will be fine." Following news that Barbara Bermudo's contract was not renewed at the Spanish-language network, her husband, Mario Andres Moreno, posted a message on social media expressing his gratitude for all the outpour of support for his wife.
“Thank you all for the great show of support to my wife that make me feel very proud of her and her extraordinary talent that nobody will be able to cloud,” he wrote on Instagram. “Very soon the truth will come to the light and the enemy will be unmasked. For now, thank you with all my heart. #GodIsGoodAllTheTime.”
Although Barbara has not shared her feelings following her abrupt exit from Univision, days before the news surfaced she posted a cryptic messages on Instagram that foreshadowed changes in her life. “Ready to dominate and only add good things”, she captioned the pic of a calculator and a notebook with the words “plans for world domination. She also added hashtags like “determination,” “new goals” and “mega project.”
