After Sean Lowe declined spending the night with any of the final three contestants in the infamous fantasy suites, the audience soon learned that Lowe was in fact a born-again virgin. Lowe was the first virgin Bachelor.

And now Lowe has confirmed that he and new fiancée Catherine Giudici will wait until their wedding night to consummate their relationship.

The true Southern gentleman, 29, is a conservative Christian and born-again virgin, who reclaimed his virginity after a challenge and has been abstinent ever since. While Giudici has never claimed her virginity, she is happy to honor her future husband's wishes.

In a recent interview with People Magazine, Lowe confirmed that he doesn't want to wait too long to get married.

"I'm a guy, if it were up to me, I'd go to the courthouse tomorrow and it would be a done deal!"

While, we can tell he is ready to consummate his marriage with Giudici, Lowe explained his decision to practice abstinence until he has exchanged vows.

"I lived life kind of selfishly for a long time, and I reached a point where I was tired of being selfish. I wanted to live my life the way I know it to be right. It's a personal choice for me."

While the two are still happily in love, starting wedding plans is the next big transition.

"it's daunting, the whole prospect of it," Catherine said. "We can finally be engaged in public. That's the first step. Then the wedding plans."

"We've kicked around some ideas. It could be this summer. We talked about an outdoor wedding in the L.A. area. I think that will be fun. We want it to be a big party," Lowe added.

The wedding is apparently going to be a televised event on ABC.
