"The Bachelorette" Desiree Hartstock selected her final 5 guys and on tonight's episode they all jet off to Portugal. Brooks and Desiree get some serious one on one time and things get serious between the two! During the day portion of the date, Desiree and Brooks take in the sights atop a mountain where their heads were literally and figuratively in the clouds.
Although, during the night portion of their one-on-one date, they share some serious talk over dinner, and it definitely seems as if they are at very different points in this relationship.
While Desiree pours her heart out to Brooks, revealing that he could be "the one," Brooks then tells the camera that unlike love-sick Desiree, he is "a little bit behind in my emotional process." The pair then comes up with words to describe where they are at in terms of hitting the finish line of finding love. While Desiree quickly blurts out that she's "running", Brooks admits he is only "jogging."
Desiree then tells Brooks that while she wants him to meet her family, he also wants him to be ready. Brooks then admits to the camera that he still has questions about his relationship with Desiree, and "I want to really be honest with her, and we're not on the same page."
