The hit ABC show “The Bachelor” returned tonight with Mr. Juan Pablo and the lovely women of the show. The cattiness came out as the girls started to get possessive over their man. Nikki, who many outlets are projecting will win “The Bachelor” this season, was really hoping for some one-on-one time with Juan Pablo. The pediatric nurse was extremely disappointed to find out she would be going on yet another group date where she was forced to dance on stage with Korean K-pop starlets, 21. She put on a brave face, but complained about how “annoying” the other girls were and how upset she was about sharing her “boyfriend” Juan Pablo.
Juan Pablo, the 32-year-old Venezuelan Bachelor, began the show with 27 girls, and girls have gone home every week. The frontrunners appear to be Nikki; Clare, the 32-year-old hairstylist from Sacramento, Calif.; Sharleen, the 29-year-old opera singer from Ottawa, Canada; and Andi, the 26-year-old assistant district attorney. Nikki scored the first rose of the show on the dancing group date despite the skills of Kate, who is a dancer. Sharleen was honest about not wanting kids in her future, which surprisingly gained her a rose on her one-on-one date. Clare stole a kiss and Andi snagged a rose on group date No. 2.
Mr. “The Bachelor” Juan Pablo’s image has been slipping ever since his anti-gay remarks recently. When asked if there should be a gay bachelor, Juan Pablo Galavis referred to gay people as “more pervert,” but then quickly apologizes saying “sometimes I use the wrong words to express myself.” He blames his flub on the fact that English is not his first language as his native tongue is Spanish. Towards the end of Episode 4, leading up to the rose ceremony, Clare and Nikki entered into a feud. Juan asked Nikki if there was a problem in the house and she said no after she interrupted Clare’s time with him. Watch out folks, punches may be thrown.
