An all-new season of “The Bachelor” is coming along with the New Year, and it’s already starting to heat up! “The Bachelor” 2014 will premiere on ABC in less than a week on January 5th, and the world will be re-introduced to Juan Pablo Galavis! The 31-year-old Venezuela born cutie, will meet his 27 possible mates, but a surprise of this season is that JPG is not only looking for love, he is also looking for a stepmom for his adorable daughter, Camilla. On the first night of the two-night premiere, fans will receive a long back-story on JPG, however we will not even meet any of the women until night two. Instead, we will see some quick video backgrounds on the women, and JPG will have to wait to meet them along with the audience.
Despite not even having premiered yet as the next Bachelor, JPG has already made headline. While we are all hoping, the handsome hunk will end up living happily ever after, we are not sure we will get to watch his wedding day. Unlike Season 17 “Bachelor” Sean Lowe, JPG is not so sure about the idea of getting married on TV. Lowe plans to marry his fiancée Catherine Giudici in a one of a kind TV special on ABC. Giuduci and Lowe will get hitched on January 26, 2014 with ABC not only footing the hefty bill, but the network is also paying the couple six figures! Wow! Maybe JPG wants to reconsider not wanting to get married on TV, however it seems like the Latino looking for love is also looking to stick to traditions. “Getting married on TV, I'm not sure,” JPG revealed to Wetpaint on a conference call. “You know, I don't know. It's something -- I'm from Venezuela and weddings in Venezuela are big, and music -- I don't know how this works.”
We respect a traditional man, who knows what he wants but lucky for us, it doesn’t seem like JPG has fully ruled out anything yet. Maybe we should just wait to see if he does fall in love and find a bride! Check out the sneak peek video of Juan Pablo below and let us know what are you most excited about for “The Bachelor” 2014!
